This new book is proving easier and harder to write than I expected.  I have so much to say but it’s for kids so I have to tone it down a little and it’s a very complex subject so I need to hit the finer points gently without being overwhelming.  Until Brimstone Blues, I’d never written any YA in my life and now I’m taking things down just a notch more.  But I really like writing about it and I think it’s probably something that fills a whole and we writers know that’s a good, good thing.  Anyway, I’ll work on that more later.

So Halloween approaches.  I’m so excited.  I can’t wait for the trees to start changing and some of the TV channels are already doing scary stuff.  Everyday I do a spell and just about everyday I read the cards.  And I think I’m just as excited to see who gets a prize as you guys are.  That’s assuming you’re excited at all.  I hope you are.  I hope this all works out smoothly so we can do it again.  It’s fun.  I had the prizes out, except the 2 that are not here yet because they’re backordered, and my husband was like, “What in the Hell is that stuff?”  Then he shook his head and walked away.  He’s a pretty straight-laced kind of guy so I must have gotten the weird down.  He expects it of me. lol  Hold that thought, I need more coffee.

I guess that’s it for today, darklings.  There’s still a lot to be done.  I’ve got to write, get some pumpkins, hope my backordered stuff comes today and do my witchy stuff.  That along with the normal daily blah stuff.  But it’s still a full day.  Gothlings, don’t forget the normal daily stuff.  It will make you days easier in then end.  Trust me.  I speak from years of experience.  😉
